Mission
The mission of Durant Design and the art we create is to promote compassion, mercy and healing through the love of Jesus’ Most Sacred Heart. We pray these pieces will help those which view them reflect on the healing and merciful love of Jesus Christ and draw all into a closer relationship with Him.
About Our Art
All of our art is original, and began with a focus on the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, we began to add drawings of the Saints as well. Each piece we create is first discerned through prayer, as we only wish to do the Lord’s will in all our work.

About the Artist
John Durant is the artist behind all the art you will find on this website. A creative soul, he’s been in the arts in some form or another his whole life. He also proudly served his country in the Marine Corps for six years. He grew up Christian and entered the Catholic Church in 2006. He’s devoted to spreading the love of Jesus and the Gospel through his art. He has been inspired to use a modernized Byzantine style throughout all his pieces, and due to the fact his wife is a member of the Secular Order of the Discalced Carmelites, you’ll notice more than a few Carmelite saints. John lives in Cedar Park, Texas with his wife, Laura, and his bulldog, Winston.
